Help Us Clothe 50 Students in Need—With Dignity and the Love of Jesus
What Is Threads of Hope?
Threads of Hope is am initiative led by Connection Point Church, a small church in Conroe, Texas. Our mission is to clothe children with dignity, warmth, and the love of Jesus—practically and spiritually.
This year, we’re partnering with Armstrong Elementary, the most economically disadvantaged elementary school in Conroe ISD. Many children come to school wearing outgrown or falling-apart clothes—simply because families can’t afford new ones. Together, we can change that.
We believe every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and loved.
Why Armstrong Elementary?
Armstrong is the most economically disadvantaged elementary school in Conroe ISD, with over 600 students and limited resources.
Many students arrive in clothes they’ve outgrown and shoes falling apart
630+ students, 97% economically disadvantaged
Title I, bilingual campus with high teacher turnover
Students often lack stable classroom relationships and basic needs
This is where the Church can step in—with love in action.
Our Goal
We are raising $4,000 to clothe 50 students by August 21, 2025.
Each student will receive:
2 shirts 👕
2 pairs of pants or shorts 👖
1 pair of shoes 👟
Budget per student: $75
If we exceed our goal, students will receive additional items like socks or another outfit.
